Hernando Business Manager Puts Out Light Fixture Fire Before Firefighters Arrive

Citrus County Fire Rescue responded Tuesday afternoon to a commercial structure fire on E. McDonald Ln. in Hernando. The business manager had already evacuated everyone and put out an electrical light fixture fire above a drop ceiling with an extinguisher, and damage was minor with no injuries reported. A CCFR fire inspector also identified several fire and life-safety items at the business that need correction.
