Good morning, Crystal River! Today is National Farmer's Day, a good excuse to thank the people who grow our food, and Floral City Elementary's AgriSTEAM Academy is growing right along with them.

Sunshine is on the menu. It's sunny and 85 today, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s all week. Isaias is now a post-tropical system far to the north, and no weather alerts are active for Crystal River.

Plus, county commissioners vote Tuesday on renaming the West Citrus Government Center, and a former Lecanto High Fishing Club member lands a $5,000 scholarship. Let's get to it!
